Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic
Arcanaut Studios opened the night with Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic, a single-player action RPG that pulls us back into the Old Republic era. The big headline: Casey Hudson, one of the key creative leads behind KOTOR and the Mass Effect trilogy, is back working in the Star Wars universe.
Divinity (Larian's Next Epic)
After lifting a mysterious statue on stage, Larian confirmed what many fans suspected: their next major game is a new Divinity title. The cinematic trailer was brutal, ending with a fiery execution that quickly turns on the cult behind it. Larian says it's aiming to be even bigger than Baldur's Gate 3, which is a wild bar to clear.
4:LOOP
From Sony and Bad Robot, 4:LOOP is a slick shooter/roguelike where time loops, chaos, and stylish gunfights collide. The reveal was brief but instantly stood out as one of those games that could land in the Hades/Returnal lane if the gameplay hits.
Coven of the Chicken Foot
Wildflower Interactive, led by ex–Naughty Dog director Bruce Straley, showed off Coven of the Chicken Foot, a narrative adventure starring an older woman and a strange plant monster. Their partnership looks heartwarming at first — until the monster seems to turn on her by the end of the trailer.
ONTOS
From Fractional Games and Kepler Interactive, ONTOS is a first-person horror game with heavy body horror and unsettling imagery. Built by the team behind Soma, it's aiming for psychological and existential dread when it launches in 2026.

Resident Evil Requiem
Resident Evil Requiem dropped a new trailer featuring the return of an older Leon S. Kennedy. The tone suggests a blend between the creeping horror of Resident Evil 7 and the more action-heavy vibe of RE4, raising big questions about how the campaign will be structured.
Order of the Sinking Star
From Witness and Braid developer Jonathan Blow, Order of the Sinking Star is a massive puzzle game boasting over 1,400 puzzles. It's planned for 2026 and looks like another dense, methodical brain-burner for fans of Blow's previous work.
Exodus
Exodus is a sci-fi action RPG shooter published by Wizards of the Coast. The star power hook is Matthew McConaughey, who appears in the story and on stage. The game is clearly gunning for the "Mass Effect-shaped hole" in many players' hearts, with a planned launch in early 2027.
Warlock: Dungeons & Dragons
Wizards of the Coast doubled down with Warlock: Dungeons & Dragons. Introduced by Battlestar Galactica and Mass Effect star Trisha Helfer, the game got a cinematic teaser and a 2027 release window, with a deeper gameplay reveal planned for 2026.
Control Resonant (Control 2)
Remedy returned to the stage with Control Resonant, the sequel to the 2019 cult hit. An elaborate, visually intense stage show led into a cinematic trailer that teased more reality-bending weirdness from the Federal Bureau of Control. It's targeting a 2026 release.
Gang of Dragon
Gang of Dragon is the debut project from Nagoshi Studio, led by former Yakuza director Toshihiro Nagoshi. It leans into stylish, violent Japanese crime drama vibes that should feel familiar to fans of his earlier work.
Street Fighter Live-Action Movie
The show slowed down for a first look at the upcoming Street Fighter live-action movie. The teaser didn't reveal much about the plot, but it promised plenty of hand-to-hand action and gave fans a chance to see the cast assembled on stage.
Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight
Geoff kicked off a bit with a Batman minifig before showing more of Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. The game looks like a hybrid between classic Lego platforming and Arkham-style action, with early impressions from hands-on demos being pretty positive.
New Tomb Raider (2027)
After an hour of teasing, we finally saw the next mainline Tomb Raider. The cinematic debut trailer focused on Lara raiding a hostile encampment, with Alix Wilton Regan (known as the Inquisitor in Dragon Age) confirmed as the new voice of Lara Croft. This entry is aiming for a 2027 release.
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis
The celebration continued with Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, a remake of the original 90s game. The footage showed classic Lara moves like gymnastic acrobatics and gunfights with dinosaurs, leaning into nostalgia with a modern coat of paint for a 2026 launch.
Forest 3
Forest 3 arrived with a moody, atmospheric trailer that had some fans doing a double take when the logo appeared, thanks to the prominent "3". Once the confusion faded, it settled in as the next entry in the survival horror series, continuing the trend of bleak wilderness terror.
Invincible VS
The Invincible universe is getting a fighting game in Invincible VS. The Game Awards trailer introduced a new fighter, Ella Mental, and confirmed a 2026 release window.

Marvel Rivals — Deadpool Joins the Fight
NetEase confirmed that Deadpool is finally coming to Marvel Rivals. The Merc with a Mouth got a stylish animated trailer, though no live gameplay was shown. He'll arrive in-game with the next season in January, with Elsa Bloodstone following later.
007: First Light
In 007: First Light, we learned that musician Lenny Kravitz will play the game's villain. The trailer leaned on his presence and Bond-style intrigue, marking his first video game role.
Lords of the Fallen II
Lords of the Fallen II got its first gameplay trailer, showing off more grimdark fantasy Soulslike combat. As a bonus, the original game received a new update that dropped the same day.
Saros
Housemarque and actor Rahul Kohli teamed up to introduce Saros, a roguelike shooter emphasizing fast-paced combat and story-driven characters. It's coming to PlayStation 5 on March 20.
No Law
No Law looks like the scrappy younger sibling of Cyberpunk 2077 — neon-soaked streets, high-tech crime, and plenty of attitude. The trailer was short but left a strong first impression.
Total War: Warhammer 40K
Creative Assembly is mashing together two massive fandoms with Total War: Warhammer 40K. Announced on stage alongside David Harbour, who'll appear in the game, it officially brings the Total War formula into the grimdark future.
Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve

Highguard
The show ended with Highguard, a new fantasy shooter from Wildlight Entertainment, a studio led by ex-Respawn developers who worked on Apex Legends and Titanfall. It features fast traversal, quick movement, and a fusion of modern firearms with fantasy weaponry. Highguard is set to launch on January 26 as a free-to-play title.
